This was followed by work stays and exhibitions in Italy, Slovenia, Ukraine, Germany and Austria.

the second glance

A second look can reveal a whole new story or image. Nothing is just one-dimensional and everything hides a wealth of possibilities that are just waiting to be discovered and liberated.

Daniel Hosenberg does exactly that and delves deeply into the flood of images that surround us every day. He likes to look at things a little longer and discover new details, intuitively create new images and worlds and interpret them in his own unique way.

A patch of color on the screen becomes a landscape, letters announcing a concert become a portrait, and the supernumerary, who stands out of focus in the background, becomes the main actor.

In these processes, Hosenberg does not allow himself to be restricted by artistic tradition.

In recent years, three comprehensive series of works have developed:
– Symbiotic overpainting, overpainting on PVC tarpaulins
– torn realities, Collages and decollages from posters
– chiaroscuro, pouring and painting on canvas

At exhibitions, these main series are usually supplemented by sculptural interventions, which can consist of smaller objects but also room-wide installations.
